    trippy techie

Technology is a mind reader and creator at the same time. Really think about the question: Would my thoughts be anything like they are right now if I didn’t have technology around/existed in my life? The answer would have to be no: you wouldn’t think anything like you do if it werent. No matter how much we try to deny that we’re above the phenomenon of technology, the generation of facebook users and cell phone havers, most of us grew up with technology all around us already. We’ve grown up *with it..every new device and gadget that comes out is a part of the progression of technology and we experience it side by side (some of us ALOT quicker than others..because they pay attention). Everything we encounter changes something in us, some part of us..so technology is a huge part of that. I am able to reach anybody in the world that types up: trippy techie into a search engine..and if it is stored somewhere into cyberspace, allowing futures of generations to find my blog post. If somebody has something to say (nothing is too trivial unless it’s negative in which case, it should stay off the internet, because the power of evil can be created or inspired too, and it SHOULD NOT BE)…..well in my current perspective it shouldn’t be. It’d be cool if someone had another opinion on that matter.. But anyway my android incredible is a mind reader. Anything I think of, i just have to type it in to a box and the entire world of information out there is at my fingertips. I think this should spark a movement of perserving history and this means making sure that the older generations know how to use the internet..otherwise it is just our playground…LITERALLY. So you should inspire all of the important elders you know and get em a web site or something. Anyway, so I was looking at my phone and reading my horoscope and seeing this screen in front of my face and I remember thinking..I assume that my horoscope exists somewhere OUT THERE and there’s somehow a picture of it being communicated towards me. But that’s not how it happens…I feel like when I search for something, I’m creating it out of thin air. My dad asked me today when I told him about my revelation: Think about what Abraham Lincoln would say about an internet? And my response almost blew my mind: I think Abe’s brain would explode..literally. My one worry though: I really hope that vocabularies are well preserved. We don’t use as much spoken language as our elders did because we just have to type basically..and we shorten language so it fits into our phones as texts and facebook updates…the smaller the better…but that could also cause vocabulary loss. Those expedient people out there may say a smaller language is a good thing: I don’t think so. Language is beautiful spoken well. And I have a professor right now who, if he doesn’t like an adjective a student said, he makes them find synonyms until he’s satisfied with the word you used…how incredibly smart is that!

Anyway, try to come up with an answer to the first question..at least think about it..and try to imagination what Abe Lincoln would say about the internet, and let me know what you come up with because I’d love to have a similar imaginatory experience with someone on that.

    Love.

    Happy birthday to me :)

If you have to make a living, it's already made you.

I'm another artist who wants you to read what I write. Basic idea of a blog? I think so.

Welcome!
