   Life in VHS format

   I’ve recently been seeing my life as a movie that is constantly unfolding a new chapter or scene or adventure. Everything that happens is amazing and another experience..even those of that we would perceive as negative because we can choose to see it as a lesson that makes us stronger. So think about this..When we watch home videos or our favorite movies, we love certain parts..certain quotes..etc. We fast forward through the crap we don’t want to see…what if our lives were recorded on a VHS? What parts would you want to stop on and experience over and over again? What parts would you rewind? What lines of text would you copy and paste into your status on facebook or sing over and over again? What would the soundtrack be? How would you want an audience watching this movie to feel and talk about as they left?

   I feel like one can never truly have the answers to these questions because we are so transitory as people, yet the beauty of asking these questions in the first place is that we can choose to live so that we love our movies and that we want to experience them every single day and see what happens next. I choose to live my life so that I tune in next week and cannot wait to see what happens next and it makes for a much more exciting experience :) Have a good night!
